1 535 Battleship USS Missouri Supply

Description
Description
The U.S.S Missouri (called Mighty Mo), one of the largest and most powerful battleships in the U.S. Navy, became famous for signing the Japanese surrender documents. The Missouri was the last of four Iowa-class battleships with an ideal combination of firepower and speed, and was completed in June 1944. The Missouri s active wartime service ranged from the Iwo Jima landings in February 1945 to the cessation of hostilities in September 1945 and during the Korean War. On September 2, 1945, the Japanese surrender document was signed aboard the Missouri.
